Bought the car used, was aware of the headliner. Paid to have it repaired. Was $400 for a shop to repair it. It's a known problem with this make/model/year. For some reason the headliner shrinks and pulls away from the sides. Maybe a glue issue/material issue.
Had nothing but trouble with this car. 1) had to replace CV boots at $600. 2) Replaced sagging Headliner at $800 3) electrical problem with the doors, rear doors do not lock but set the alarm off when opened 4) Replaced rear brake caliper at $800. Paint problem all over the exterior. Pain in the ass to replace air filter or oil filter
