This problem started a couple of months ago and only has become progressively worse. When you start to speed up from being stopped, the revs would go really high without kicking into the next gear. It now will not shift into higher gears, very sluggish. Only fix is a complete transmission replacement, and after spending 3k on a new engine for this car there's no way I'm forking out the money on this lemon to fix this.
