Since new the problem existed. The complaint was registered at each service interval. The first three times i was told "they are all like this - it is normal -the computer has to analyze conditions before it can signal the car to go - there was no fault code so nothing is wrong "

The throttle lag let you count from 2 or as high as 5. This was a white knuckle situation when making left turns. The shuddering to a stop while much better still exists.

I was told V W Canada was contacted each time to suggest solutions such as -drain out the fuel - use the sport mode.

At the 48000 km service they reset the transmission computer to baseline. When I picked the car up they said they corrected the shudder to a stop but the throttle lag was normal and nothing could be done about it - there was no fault code. In fact the throttle lag is cured and the shuddering to a stop remains. The car is much more drivable now with only minor shuddering to a stop.

After being a V W fan for over 40 Years and having owned 14 V W's, 6diesels, 3TDI I am unlikely to recommend or purchace another!
