Granted I bought the car used at 124,000km I drove it mainly highway/freeway driving commuting to work. As soon as it hit 200k, the check engine light came on flashing. Car started to stutter. Was cheaper to replace the entire engine than fix it, and by "cheaper" I mean it still cost 3,000 Canadian. The car received regular maintenance and was baby'd.
Check engine light came on and stayed on. Had a mechanic check and determine it was not a fuse. Had a diagnostic run and no issues presented. The light is still on .... 3 years later
