Heated leather seats in the front of the TDI Jetta (2006). While driving on a cold morning, I turned the driver heat seat to max (5), about 3 minutes later, I felt a small electrical sting in my back, then I started smelling a burning smell. I stop the car and noticed that my jacket had two small burn marks on it, then I noticed a burnt hole in my lower back and another hole in the mid to upper back area. Would like to isolate this seat from the other seat or fix the problem totally. Just do not feel safe letting others drive this vehicle right now. I feel like it might catch on fire, just moved the fire extinguisher to the front seat for added protection.
