problem began after a couple of months from the time i purchased it. i could drive it for a few days then started acting up again. i figured trans fluid was low so i had that checked to find out that it is a lifetime fluid and very rare to be low. so i researched my problems on the net and talked to a few different people to find out the valve body is an ongoing problem with these years and type of trans, so needless to say its not a cheap fix. so my silver beauty has been a part of my landscaping in the yard....vw needs to get it together!!!!!!
