my 2003 Volkswagen Jetta , overheated all that it needed was the temperature control valve was leaking . Now I need a transmission control module ? What does that have to do with the car overheating ? I took it to Kelly Volkswagen in Scranton Pa 1st I needed the main control module I purchased from a scrap yard , which was put in by another garage . then the dealership has to what they call flash the computer ? A series of turning the car on and off so the new computer can learn ? But I still don't know how my transmission has anything to do with my car overheating ? Also they want $1800.00 to put the module on the outside of the transmission ? Can anyone tell me where this control module is located ? Please Help
Thank you,
Respectfully
