January 2016 I opened my car door on the driver's side and sat down in a soaking wet seat and the floor had big puddle of water. I then saw water dripping from the interior part of my sunroof. In addition, all of the windows including, the front and back windshields were extremely wet including the floor carpet in the front driver's , passenger's side, and the back behind the driver's side. I then noticed that there were pockets of water inside the head interior lining 2 weeks ago, I took my car into VW Auburn service department and was told that their was debris that clogged the drain hole on the driver's side. They cleaned the drain holes and tested the car for leaks. I was told that there should not be anymore leaks. After VW cleaned the drain holes, water was still leaking into the back seat of the driver's side causing puddles of water soaking through the carpet. I called the Service advisor and he told me that it is water condensation from the previous leak. A few days ago, my carpet was soaking wet again after I cleaned the water from the carpet. I took my car back to Auburn VW and was told that there was no warranty for the sunroof cleaning that they did and that if I wanted further diagnosis as to where the water could be leaking, it was going to cost me around $144.00. The service advisor said that the only thing they will do is a visual inspection. I was then told that the water in my carpet was leftover condensation ( water) from the previous leak. I was told to pull the carpet up in the back and clean the water out from the floor. When I got home from VW, I soaked up most of the water from the carpet and then placed a dry towel on the floor. This morning, I went to check on my car, and the dry towel that I placed on the floor was soaking wet and the side window was wet inside Since the sunroof water leaking started, I now hear knocking sounds from under the hood which started after the water leaking into the front inside of the car. I am frustrated and upset not knowing what to do. I never had any water leaking sunroof problems with my 2 previous cars that were not VW's. This has been a nightmare.
