Car is parked and when it rains water leaks in from the passenger side. No accidents and cleaned all drains and pipes. I remember a letter about a year or two ago regarding this from VW but since my car did not leaked I was not worried, now its a puddle of water. What can I do.

Lawsuit hearing set for November 16th 2012 involving 650,000 vehicles only offers $140 stopping us from further action. Please visit www.niandesign.com/VW "designed for you" showing proof this does not resolve the issue. This is a safety concern. Cars spoiler/bumper is constructed too low to the ground catching normal curbs and parking stops tearing off the assembly leaving it dangling. We are told to park away from these structures possibly obstructing traffic. Please view site for photos, multiple complaints, and a link to upcoming lawsuit. NHTSA, I researched and made this easy for you. Look !!

I have had nothing but issues with my 2001 Jetta. I have replaced all the wheel bearings and the front bearing twice. I have also had to replace the engine coils twice on this car. Now in the last 2-3 weeks the clear coat has started to peel off the car. The paint is not coming off just the clear coat. I called the VW care center and they ran me around having me take the car to a VW body shop, and having the service manager look at it and neither one of them could tell me why the clear coat was peeling. They both did respond by saying the could be sure but in may have been over baked at the factory after it was painted but of course nobody want to admit that because then VW would be liable to fix it. So in calling the VW care center back the pretty much told me the car was 5 year old and it wasn't their problem any more but mine. Great customer service. I've owned other cars and never had a problem with the clear coat. Granted they were not VW cars. I recommend not to buy a VW of any kind because this company will not stand by their fault. I mean 5 years old that the clear coat is peeling off. That isn't right. Thanks for nothing VW. Don't buy a VW.

I have an ongoing water leak in my 2001 VW Jetta. Everytime it rains, water leaks from a spot near my glove compartment and into the passenger side floor. Without fail, a 3-5 inch pool of water collects everytime it rains. The dealership refuses to pay the $70/hour cost and states that it is my problem and not a manufacturer's defect.

I have filed complaints repeatedly with VW customer care concerning the inferior material used to upholster the Jetta tdi (gls). I stated to them that it was like driving a giant lint brush! any clothing you wear sticks to the seats and doorsand on a good day, even the ceiling! the operator I spoke with was very polite when he asked me what I thought the resolution should be to resolve the problem" I stated to him that the car should be completely reupholstered at VW's expense!at which point, he offered to send me a kit to help deal with the lint problem. I asked if they had received a volume of complaints about this issue, and the operator stated, no. I asked him, why do you conveniently have a kit available for a problem you say does not exist" well needless to say, the call was very silent for a minute or two. The kit consisted of (1) lint brush, (exactly like the one I purchased previously), and (1) 3M cloth. It is truly a mystery what VW expects me to do with the 3M cloth...I suppose I could use it to muffle my screams of frustration!
