Volkswagen left a BAD taste in my mouth after this one. Ok, so we were driving in Nampa, ID, when the car started dying. I just revved the car up to 6000 rpms to get us moving. I got onto the freeway, when the car started dying again. I had to pull over on the freeway and turn the car off and wait. I got back onto the freeway, and we didn't have a problem. Later, I figured out that if you idle, this problem happens. I had many problems with this, until I couldn't take it anymore and bought a 2016 Toyota Corolla. This is an awful car. You will thank me in the future for posting this.
