Have had 3 serpentine belts replaced as well as the others because of what the VW dealership told me as a manufacturing pulley defect/misalignment. They never did anything about it. Never gave me a solution to fix it either. So the belts squeak, chatter, and so on... so instead of replacing them all the time I use a belt lubricant. It has helped.
