Car won't start when it's wet, especially when it rains or I wash the car. It will crank but it will not fire up or run. Come to find out from my VW tech, that when moisture got into my old ignition cap it would stop the ignition from working. He also said that the new Bosch ignition cap comes with a black plastic cover that should be taken off and thrown away. This protective cover apparently does more harm than good and traps moisture which causes the whole problem to occur again down the road. It runs and starts fine in the wet now.
