At just 2000 miles, my windshield developed a crack with no apparent cause. Even though my insurance has agreed to replace it, no spare windshields are available, and nobody can provide a timeline for when they'll be in stock.
To make matters worse, the cracks have multiplied to three, endangering safety. Despite clear evidence of a defective windshield, Volkswagen has been unresponsive.
Given the gravity of the issue, I have no choice but to drive the car, which is my only transportation, with a potentially unsafe windshield. I urge VW to acknowledge the problem and expedite the availability of replacement windshields.
