The head unit including radio (local and Sirius), along with connections to allow Apple CarPlay just would not work consistently and effectively. Dealer tried a few things until I finally was able to convince them to replace the whole darn thing. That was about 6 months ago. It works correctly about 90% of time now, but still far from perfect. The other issue, once VW replaced the head unit, was dealing with Sirius. My account had to be reset BY THEM, and they kept escalating the issue, so I had to repeat it about 6 times to different Reps. None of the Sirius Reps spoke English as a 1st language, so their ability to understand was limited. I eventually had to fax a copy of the dealer paperwork showing the radio was a "replacement" and not a new radio, where a new Sirius subscription would be needed. PAIN in the ASS,; I wasted more than 10 hours on the phone with them or writing emailing descriptions of issue before it was finally fixed.
