I bought a new 2017 Golf TSI in 2017. Within the same year in winter it gave sharp squealing noise when I reverse from my carport in the morning. So far I have been to the dealership twice about the problem and they all said it was normal. A guy in the service told me it was the metallic material used for the brake that caused the squealing and the problem was on the manufacturing side and they wouldn't do anything.
I called the customer service of Volkswagen Canada and they also said it was normal.
This is unacceptable!! Such a big company used low quality material that gives annoying problem, but forces the customer to live with it. Such a disgrace for Volkswagen!!
