Inoperative clutch system due to hydraulic system leakage requiring transmission removal. It was a defective Hydraulic throw-out bearing. I feel this failure was very premature with only 35,000 miles on this vehicle. Has this happened to any other Golf TDI (manual) clutch hydraulic systems?
I called VW help line asking for help they told me I will get no help from them. It was very difficult to even reach someone. I also wrote to the CEO of VW of North America asking for financial help with the $1425 bill. I am still waiting for his response.
