Replacement intake manifolds for CCTA engines have an improved intake manifold flap valve -N316.The new -N316- valve has 3 hose ports rather than 2 (See Figure 1), requiring a fresh air line be installed during intake manifold replacement. This fresh air line will prevent dirt and debris from contaminating the -N316- solenoid.
