Well, it was time to get my car serviced again, Told them there's a grinding noise that happens when I'm on a hill stuck in traffic. Told them it only really happens when I'm stuck in traffic or on a hill. Pick up my car from service and was told they can't find the noise. Asked if they took it for a ride on a hill? Response No.
Then two months later, noise getting worse. Hubby says sounds like fan belt lose. Ring up to get it fixed. Told them I'm in that area this day, no sorry can't do. Had to wait three weeks before seen. Then I was told to come in at 9.30am and leave the car. I explained I'm not able to do that as I need a car for work. I said look, I had this problem on my last service and told the guy. I was told there was no noise. There's a noise. Told them I started work at 12.30pm, I would come in at 11am and they have 1.5hours to fix it.
So waited a week before I was booked in. Had a service guy take me for a drive so I can show him there's a noise. Took him on a hill like I said that's when it happens. He immediately knew what the problem was. The clutch. The guy said that this was a common issue, trust me if I knew about it I wouldn't have bought this car. Now they have to put an application in to VW to get the part to replace it. Well the noise now happens all the time and I have to wait two weeks to get it fixed because that's when they have loan car available. But now other things are happening. I constantly have this WARNING!!!!! come up. That I have level p and that's only for parking or standing still, while I'm driving. My lights are on auto but not working and my wipers are squeaking.
Not happy at all. WORST CAR ever. I had my Suzuki for eight years, only gave my problems after six years. My hubby had a Mazda for 12 years, no problems, Mitsubishi for 11 years, no problems. Then I buy a GERMAN MADE car and all these problems come up and I haven't even had to car for 1.5 years yet. DISGUSTING!!!!!!
I would like the BRAND NEW CAR I paid for, not a LEMON CAR...... I will not be recommending VW to anyone, ever. Have no idea how they got car awards.
Funny but the guys that sold this car said once you own a VW you never go back to an ordinary car, eg Toyota, Ford, Madza, etc.. RIGHT NOW I would prefer one of those instead.
