Technical Bulletin (Exhaust Pressure Control Valve issues):
This document informs of the diagnostic issues resulting from malfunctions of the Exhaust Pressure Control Valve. If one or more of the faults are stored in the ECM fault memory, remove the exhaust flap to check for a sticking condition. If the flap cannot be moved or does not move freely, the exhaust flap must be replaced.
This document discusses the "Fault Codes" necessary to diagnosis, and potential remedy of the issue. The fault codes for checking warranty coverage for servicing the vehicle are also available.
