Technical Bulletin (Update Programming issue due to Harsh Gear Engagement from Park to Drive or Reverse):
The updated programming for the TCM modifies clutch operation to decrease pressure to the C1, which may cause harsh transmission engagement. The production solution for this issue was a Transmission Control Module (TCM) software update. This document discusses the "Fault Codes" necessary to diagnosis, and potential remedy of the issue. The fault codes for checking warranty coverage for servicing the vehicle are also available.
