So my daughter was rear-ended and pushed into the car in front of her while merging on the highway by someone going 55 miles an hour. She was sitting still. The airbags in both other cars deployed. The Golf's did not. My daughter had injuries to her arm and shoulder. I hate that my daughter had the stress of the accident. But I am soooo glad that this car was totalled. It reminded me of a horror movie where the car is possessed. I also really hated how close the roof was over my head. If I had known the airbags wouldn't work I would have been even more claustrophobic riding in it. Thank God for small favors, I only made one payment on this creepy car. I will never buy VW again. Loving my new Camry. Will let you know if any issues.
