The oil uptake tube diameter is unusually narrow and the tube and screen are susceptible to clogging. The oil uptake tube and screen clogged and set off the oil pressure alarm. The clogging in my vehicle was apparently due to the use of conventional engine oil rather than synthetic as to the vehicle specs.
