Hopefully the software update is covered under warranty. Has been a long standing issue, multiple years without fix, mentioned to the dealer numerous times, no response. The TSB (10052042-2088) identifies the precise issue (dtc 16353 & 16355), and hopefully the precise fix. A control module software update that can only be performed at the dealer, unable to DIY, must be done through VAS diagnostic tools and ODIS online services.
