Service light came on. Mechanic found code in system for the intake manifold runner, Mechanic verified that the runner is moving (not broken). No vacuum leaks. Service light was cleared, but reappeared two days later.
Diagnostic cost $115. Replacement of intake manifold approximately $800. Frustrated because there is no indication that the part needs to be replaced. Will continue to drive and monitor fuel efficiency and engine performance.
