Purchasing a new or used vehicle is a big decision. I am not an attorney, but I know a reasonable expectation of service is implied on a purchase. The service quality and vehicle quality are unacceptable. Shame on you for allowing such a defective vehicle on the road and clearly putting profits over ethical business practices. I feel deceived by the dealership and taken advantage of by the manufacturer. I was assured it will be a great running car for many, many years to come - and deals like this don't come around often. I SHOULD HOPE NOT!
In less than 2 years I have accrued over $5,000 in repair and service costs on an $11,400 car. Almost half the purchase price in repairs. What's more - it still does not run!!!! I had to have it towed from the service center to my home because I have spent everything I have on a car that doesn't work.
Imagine the daughter of Volkswagen CEO bought the same car with the same problems I did. Would he consider service and repairs a reasonable expectation?
Business's know how much one very unsatisfied customer can cost year-over-year. I will never purchase from the dealership of manufacture, nor will anyone I come in contact with.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SHOULD BE MORE THAN A DEPARTMENT WITHIN A CORPORATION. IT SHOULD BE THEIR STANDARD. Do the right thing VW.
