Bought the Manual transmission since I thought I would avoid the hassle of the Automatic DSG issues that I have heard from this cars. However, I have been having the problem that the clutch looses pressure every couple of days with no reason at all. There is no oil leak anywhere and it does it completely random. I already took it to the dealer and they said that it is not under warranty and the problem maybe coming from the engine it self and might need a new engine replacement. I have been reading other customer reviews and it seems that this is a problem with some GTis and mine is most likely one of them. I have owned Japanese cars that have more than 100k miles on them and never had a serious issue like this. this will surely be my last VW.
