ABS Recall for software update was performed, ABS unit was not replaced, although some were replaced by Recall. System fails after 14 months from software update, only covered for 12 months, Volkswagen states it is not liable for repairs. ABS failed at random, lights fired at random, ABS breaks engaged without need, brakes failed to work when needed in traffic. Brake failure.
