BOTH mirrors (glass part only) fell off the car within 2 weeks of each other. One fell along the roadside - the other, when I checked it, was hanging by a thread.
The car is only 8 years old - I've never heard of mirrors falling off the car. I"ve seen junkers in the junkyard that are 40+ years old and still have the same mirrors on them.
It was easy to fix by myself. Just pop off the plastic mirror part and snap on a new one (although I used JB weld for the other - we'll see how long it stays on.
