THE VALVE BODY HAD AN EXTENDED WARRANTY CONNECTED TO IT WHICH EXPIRED 06/2013...MY RESEARCH STATES THIS WAS A RECALL ISSUE 05/19/2009 RECALL ID# 87958. I PURCHASED THE CAR 08/2009. VW, IN EXHIBITING VERY HIGH STANDARDS IN THE AREA OF CUSTOMER SERVICE (YEAH OK!!) , REFUSES TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY. IF MY CAR BEGAN HAVING THIS PROBLEM IN 10/2015 I COULD UNDERSTAND THE "SUCKS TO BE ME" THING BUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY EXPIRED 06/2013! THIS IS A $2000 REPAIR FOR AN ISSUE THAT VW WAS FORCED TO CONTEND WITH! HELLO VW THE PROBLEM IS NOT CORRECTED HELLO YOU MISSED MY CAR!!! I FEEL CONFIDENT THAT THIS IS NOT THE ONLY CAR STILL GOING THRU THIS! VW NEEDS TO STEP UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING! OH AND WHEN I CALLED VW NORTHEAST AND ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR GUESS WHAT NO ONE WOULD SPEAK TO ME!! I SWEAR I WAS WAITING FOR ASHTON TO JUMP OUT OF A CLOSET AS I THOUGHT FOR SURE I WAS GETTING PUNKED!!
