My window has slipped down into door on both sides, I have never ever had this problem before on any cars I have purchased throughout the years, or maybe it just happens to the Vauxhall cars.
My granddaughter and I were driving along the road last night when I decided to put the window up on driver's side of car, it wouldn't go up when I pressed the switch inside of car, I tried to press button down but window went down too, then it stuck half way. I stopped car and someone tried to help and pushed window down, now I couldn't get it back up and tried to grip it but no luck getting it back up. By this time I was getting really annoyed so decided to just drive home with window down all time, both of us were freezing when we eventually got home.
This should never happen with these windows especially when you have young kids in the car. My granddaughter is 1 year old and was freezing cold when she got home.
I am just about to take my car to the garage and dreading it really as the part for the window to get fixed is roughly about $95 plus vat.I really don't have that kind of cash to get it sorted so maybe I just need to leave my 4 year old car parked in my drive until I have saved up enough cash to get it sorted, and I am not talking about 1 window, this is 2 windows that has went in car.
I really think there should be a recall of these window regulators as that is what the problem is.
Not everyone can afford to fork this money out everytime this happens.
Any help would definitely be much appreciated.
