I live in Tx and have always had my EOS serviced at the proper time. Had my 80,000 check/service in April and all was well. On trip to Indiana to visit my father, my EOS broke down in Forrest City, Arkansas. Had to have it towed to dealership in Memphis. Tennessee, which was the closest one. (About 50 miles). There I was told I would have to have a new engine, that engine was destroyed by timing chain/belt. Dealership said it would cost $6,000 to 8,000 to fix, and that my car was worth about $800.00 now, without engine!
