I have a 2010 VW Eos Komfort Turbo.
The ABS/ESC (electronic stability control) lights came on saying the ABS/ESC was inoperative in April, 2018. The car seemed to brake and drive fine but sometimes there was a high RPM surge that lasted for a few seconds.
I checked on the VW website if there were any recalls. It is only listed the air bag recall. I checked the NHTSA website and found that there was a recall (NHTSA Campaign Number 16V913000) affecting certain 2009-2010 models and just the 2009 Eos. I filed a complaint with the NHTSA, but as yet have not contacted VW of America. I don't want to pay for this defect myself.
