APPARENTLY NOT COVERED UNDER ANY WARRANTY OR RECALL. tried to file a claim and VW rep called me said they spoke to dealership and can be of NO ASSISTANCE! Explained our 2nd Eos and at 80,000 miles do not expect to have a $4300 problem that the factory can not offer assistance for when this car has NOT been in an accident, is driven only by a 55 yr old woman back and forth to work, was always serviced, never abused and in return we get a $4300 bill. Disgusted in VW as a brand. My husband had 2000 Acura TL @ 84K miles and 8yrs old had a transmission problem and Acura picked up 75% of the $3800 bill for new transmission...Why can't VW offer any similar assistance?
