My wife & I entered into a lease for a Volkswagen Eos Convertible in 2007. To date, we have faithfully made our lease payments on time each month. Within 6 months of entering into this lease agreement, the windows of the car would have dew & FROST on the INTERIOR of the car windows. We complained to our local dealership & "they could not duplicate the problem."! During that period of time, my wife was under extreme medical treatment, undergoing multiple surgeries, busy recuperating & not driving much.

Subsequently time passed & we were unfamiliar with the "lemon law" & our rights. Recently the car which has under 14,000 miles, & which we have leased for 2 ½ yrs, has begun to get a really horrific, leaky, dewy, mildew problem. Essentially, the vehicle STINKS! THE DEALERSHIP CANNOT FIX THIS PROBLEM. Volkswagen Corporation also refuses to let us terminate our lease. We were forced to retain an attorney. We feel (@#$%^&*^%$) in every way! They have offered us one lease payment towards compensation! It still doesn't fix the problem or even pay for the gas which was spent on SIX trips bringing it to the dealership for repair.. Nor does it even NEARLY address the REAL problem: THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE FIXED!

They are in breach of warranty for sure; they will not talk to us; they won't fix the car; they can't fix the car; they won't let us out of our lease; they are for sure breaking numerous consumer protection laws but still, they are a big & powerful company & we, only peons, idiots, who keep making payments for a car that we'd love to see the CEO of Volkswagen spend 15 minutes gagging in! We'd GLADLY pay for THAT!
