The dealer told me it burnt out because the motor for the convertible top got water in it. It cost $1800 to fix. He said it got soaked because the hoses or tubes in the to were clogged and the rain, instead of draining out went into the trunk and burned out motor for convertible top operation. Why isn't the motor in a waterproof case? And I had no idea the tubes were blocked, so check out your tubes to see if they are clogged.
