The last time I bought my car into the dealership for maintenance the mechanic brought me back to show me a few things on my car - which I take great care of and bought new. One of the things he told me was that VW has a hard time with getting the tires properly balanced and aligned and to make sure to ask for him the next time I come in because he and one other mechanic has figured out a system to help properly balance and align them!!!! So basically, I am grinding down on my tires, they aren't wearing properly and my steering and braking is off because VW can't get the balance and alignment quite right on the CCs....
