Oil pressure change indicated on dashboard stating, "low oil pressure", the indicator then went out and the 2012 VW Cc 2.0 tsi shut off while driving on the interstate at a speed of approximately 45 miles a hour. The vehicle was restarted and moved of the interstate under its own power, but was idling rough and stalled. The vehicle will not start now. The code pulled from this vehicle now read, P0300, P0302, P0341, P000A, P0016, P0304, P0301, P0011, P0506

The contact owns a 2012 Volkswagen Cc. The contact stated that when the gears were shifted, an abnormal grinding sound was heard. The contact also stated that the vehicle idled before accelerating and the service transmission warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was driven to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that a megatronic module needed to be installed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to bring the vehicle to a dealer to be repaired at her expense since the VIN was not included in a recall. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 150,000.

The vehicle in question has had over two years of unresolved engine and transmission problems. The vehicle has been repeatedly return to the dealership only to be told that what it was there for not to be the problem but other things have been found and thats the problem. After paying for that repair only to bring it back for the original complaint. This is the pattern with the engine leaking oil and the leak never found to the car not going above 10 mph. Wthin the last 5 months the car has been in the shop for the same issue of no power and rattling shaking transmission. Three to four weeks at a time. In the past the car has been returned to the dealership once a week for the oil to be check and filled to specs. Also within the past two years the entire engine has been worked on by the dealership and the transmission was blown up by a technician being careless in making a repair. In repair orders I have the major work that has been done on this vehicle.in talking to the dealership and Volkswagen the only thing thats being said that the car is too far out of warranty. The issue that generates this complaint is that now Volkswagen dealership has the car and it needs a engine and transmission and wants between $8,000-$11,000. This is a major problem because of the issue that have been having over the period of time. The consumer should not be carrying the burden of this type of repair because of the history of the cars in question (which is the Volkswagen 2012 Cc). All of the problems have occurred while the car was in motion. The events with this car started in the year 2016 and the problems have been constant evry since up until this current date.

My 2012 VW Cc is in the shop as I write this as it has been identified with a defective timing chain/tensioner. It was only a matter of time before my engine had catastrophic failure like the hundreds of others VW has acknowledged. My model is listed on the related VW settlement site as part of the affected models but yet my VIN has been apparently left out of the settlement so I have to pay on my own. No one can explain to me why my car is being excluded when it has the problem parts VW has conceded to. I think VW deliberately tampered with the numbers of the vehicles affected to cut down on settlement costs

Vehicle purchased with 112,000 miles. At 119,000 the car wouldn't start randomly after driving it all day. Vehicle was parked in my driveway and I was leaving to run an errand and it wouldn't start. There was no indication of any issue. No loud or uncommon noises, no dash lights signaling a problem - nothing! two days later I had it towed it to a local mechanic and he found a problem with timing chain and head gasket. We are still in the process of having it fully diagnosed, and a price estimate for repairs. I have done a lot of research which indicates this is a very common problem in Volkswagen models like mine. Volkswagen is also aware of the problem and refuses to do anything further about it.

My car was dead while I was driving to a nearby usps. Later, I was told that the car's fuel pump was broken, which caused engine to stop running. That is something VW should have fixed long time ago because VW had it recalled for more than half year. They have so much time to make thing right, but they just chose to ignore it. I can't imagine if it happened in a interstate. Please urge them to fix the problem immediately. There are so many lives could be in danger. Now, I need to pay more than 1600 bucks to get it fixed. That is insane.

Dead battery at 37,200. Had car towed to local service shop and battery replaced. Drove home fine and next morning commuting to work, car started shaking and bucking violently. Check engine and epc light came on. Was able to drive very slowly at very high RPM (on interstate and then side roads) to get back to auto shop that replaced battery. They found ignition coils shut down and mis-firing. Transferred car to VW motor hunt valley to see if covered under power train warranty. One coil found dead, other 3 recommended for replacement. Not covered under powertrain warranty. Thanks for your help.

Since I first purchased my VW Cc 2012, I have noticed when coming to a complete stop, the car still moves foward alittle bit. Also upon making a 3 point turn around upon putting the shaft in reverse the car still moves forward. The other complaint is upon going through a fast food drive thru, and setting the autohold the cars engine made a loud rev (revolution) noise. I actually thought my car would smash into the car in front of me. I took my car in today for the 10,000 mile free maintenance, they checked out my concerns and sadly said there was nothing wrong with the car.
