I am beyond frustrated, I bought my car 2 months ago from what I thought was a reputable dealership. My car is a 2010 and was bought used at 55k miles. My car stalled on me on a Friday of Labor Day Weekend and someone told me I probably went over a puddle, I was able to turn it back on and it happened again 2 times before I got to m destination nearby. It was parked for a bit and then when I went to drive it and it was fine. Over the course of the weekend it happened after 15+ times. I had to drive places so I had no choice but to keep turning it on in the middle of traffic after it would stall, it was also a long holiday weekend so there was nothing I could do.
I took it to Sears to check the battery and alternator and it was fine, the guy said it was also probably a puddle (RIDICULOUS BECUASE IT STALLED SO MANY TIMES) I then took it to a mechanic nearby and he said that the computer read FUEL PUMP MALFUNCTION. I took it to the dealership where I bought it and after fighting with them many times they finally "changed the fuel pump" but it stalled like 5 times today.
PLEASE HELP!!!! How is this not a RECALLLLLLLL UGHHHHHH
