A D V E R T I S E M E N T S
After watching a neighbor boy's t-ball game in June or July, about 3 years ago (it was very hot), I entered my car and removed my 2 sun blockers (which have a thin metal wire on their edges, and pop up) which were on my windshield. I then put my visor back up. It FELL IN MY LAP. I took my car to the VW dealership where I'd purchased it. They easily put it in place---and said they'd had one case before, where a 2-year-old had yanked one off! I told him that I didn't do that! This is the car I dreamed of for 30 YEARS! Besides, I have driven for over 30 years, in a variety of makes of cars, and NONE ever had this issue. 😡
A few months later, it happened again. After putting it back in place, which took 5 SECONDS, they informed me that if it came off again, I would be charged over $200 to put it back up. 😡😡😡
They still believe that I was in the habit of intentionally ripping it down. UNCONSCIONABLE!!! Now I hardly use it and use my hand to block the sun.
