When I bought my 2012 Beetle there were some little plastic/rubber looking bubbles around the trim of my driver side seat. I mentioned it and was told to wait and see if something happened. In 18 months, the bubbles broke leaving holes in the seat cover. The first time the dealer put on a new cover citing the warranty. The new cover they put on had bubbles also, but the service rep just said that it was mentioned and recorded and if it happened again they would put on a new covers. It did happen again within 18 mos. The bubbles broke and left little holes. Now the dealer is saying that the holes are from wear and they won't cover the repair, which is ridiculous. The cover is only 18 mos. old and the seat looks perfect except a couple little round holes on the trimming where the bubbles broke open. I am going to take them to small claims court. I think that other 2012 owners have had the same problem which would allow me to confront the dealer or at least strengthen my case. Complete morons.
