This is my second Beetle and I love it but it has been a money pit! It is a 2008 convertible and I had to replace the ac compressor and cable system for driver's side window at 55,000. Now at 66,000 the window motor on the driver's side window caught fire while in the garage. Door panel is ruined and waiting to see what the total damage is and cost. Hopefully insurance is going to cover damage.
