First of all I love my 2006 convertible Beetle! It has cost me several thousand dollars over the years to fix it but I will never get rid of it especially now that they have ruined the lines of the VW bug. This has actually been happening longer than 6 years but this program didn't like the mileage I put in when I said it started in 2010. I can't really remember a time when it didn't happen but over the last several years it has become worse. When you turn off the car the front windows (usually the driver's side) go up and down really fast. They go just a couple inches but sometimes it last for almost a minute. If you close the door when it is still doing it, sometimes you catch it when the window is up and then the window gets pushed up and out due to the convertible top. When it doesn't do it the window goes down just a bit when you close the door to allow for the convertible. I always think the window is going to pop out! I have always taken care of the car and in fact it only has just over 60,000 miles! Several repair people I have taken it to has told me it is an electrical problem and indicated we probably didn't want to get into it. Does anyone else have this issue?
