I can't believe VW dealer tells me they cannot fix this and that I have to pay for an entirely new top on my wive's 2005 Convertible Beetle. I also heard from several people that this is a common problem. I HAVE HAD VW'S SINCE 1965 AND I THINK THIS IS IT. ALSO I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS OTHER WINDOW PROBLEMS. CURRENTLY THE RIGHT REAR WINDOW IS INOPERABLE.
