Remember me? The gal with the VW Lemon Bettle? Well, it struck again! Just one month after the ignition coil had to be replaced, the air bag light came on. Hoping it was just a fuse, it turns out that the side passenger air bag has to replaced. Not only is my 6 year old--$30, 000 car falling apart, now it's unsafe to drive. Since it is the side air bag that doesn't work, I decided not to replace it as it's going to cost $800. This is the last straw! I have decided to part ways with VW and will be trading in my car soon. It totally breaks my heart to do this, but it is also breaking my bank account. I have had the worst luck with this vehicle, and after many years of trying to make things better, I have had enough. After many attempts to contact VW of Canada Inc. in Ajax, Ontario; VW of America Inc. in Michigan, USA; and Drive Assured in Florida, USA; they finally sent me an apology and a Customer Loyalty Certificate for $750 (Even though I was told that it would be a voucher for $5,000--$10,000) to use toward the purchase of a new VW. No way in hell! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VW AS LONG AS I LIVE!!!
