I am only getting 14-15 mpg in the city and for a 4 cylinder it is unacceptable. The car is rated as getting 20 mpg in city. I feel I have been deceived by VW. I would never have bought it had I known it would consume so much gas. It also uses a lot of oil, 1 quart every 1200 miles. Want to sell it and buy a better car. I will never buy a VW again.
