My car is fairly new 2018 with low miles. I take care of it all the time and to one day find a puddle of water in the car after a thunder storm swept thru is unbelievable. I thought I left the drivers side window cracked but it wasn't. I don't open my sunroof at all. So to find my floor soaked was a mystery to me. I called the dealership and the closest date I can make an appointment would be six days from the time it happened. This is way too long to wait and the possibility of mold growth is high. I had to investigate this myself because waiting almost a week to get it checked professionally was too high of a risk. What if it rains hard again before that date and things get worse. I started to pull interior panels apart to try and track the water flow and noticed it coming down the a pillar. I opened the sunroof and there I saw the sunroof track filled with water. Apparently the drains aren't working. Will try to clean out with compressed air and hope for the best. in the mean time I have work to do with drying out the carpet and foam on the floor.
