A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I have been experiencing problems with my new Vauxhall Corsa from taking possession of the car. The first thing was the clutch spring broke off. Then the rattling started in the door and front and rear suspension. At some point the door panel was taken off and then refitted. This has not helped. At one point I was told the bushes needed to be greased. Then the nechanic called to say that they will be replacing the Roll Bar all together. Th car was returned to me with a even greter noise coming from the front as I drove over spped bumps in the road. The noise sounded like squashing water bottles. Additionally the car was pulling to the left. I have been trying without any sucess to get the matter resolved. The car now drives with far greater sensitivity to unever road surfaces and fell as if it is being pushed to both sides on accassion. This has cause me a great deal of concern especailly when on the motorway at high speed and having to gight to keep the car in my lane.

Recently the Vauxhall engineer stated that the noises are a characteristic of the car. As I was not present at the inspection I have no Idea what that means. I then took the car to another dealer and they found that the struts of the boot needed attention. This seems to have assisted the noises at the rear, which make the Vauxhall engineer diagnosis somewhat hard to take. I have also realised tha the warentee period seems to be an excuse for the dealer to ignor faults until it will cost to have them repaired. Saying that faults developed on a car is a characteristic just beggers belief.

The most dangerous thing is the fact that the car engine died whilst I was driving along. I was told that Vauxhall think the problem is to do with the Lamdar sensor. However, I have also been assured by their mechanic in another garage that the Landar sensor should not switch the engine off when moving. I asked then for the car to be taken back and the garage told me that they did not think that the matter worth having the car taken back. The manage actually wrote to me to say that he did not consider loosing power to be dangerous. I was presurised into taking the car back.

The car is now stopping itself as soon as I turn the key in the engine. I will then try the engine again and the car will start and seem to work ok, until the next time. The mechanics have not been able to find any error codes and have told me that they do.

Additionally, the windows of the car would come down on their own. Vauxhall have stopped the universal closing facility as a fix. I am still annoyed that this is the case. The car has been showing electrical problem and Vauxhall is not wishing to take the car back. I am considering legal action.

Finally. Under my seat their is a great deal of foam where the seats seem to be disintegrating. I have been told that it will cost me to fix it, although this has been happening since new.

Please let me know if you have experienced any of these issues.

Thank you.
