The electronic accelerator pedal can be very delayed in getting its signal from the pedal to the engine. Sometimes, when I want to pull out into traffic, it can be as much as around half a second. Which doesn't sound like much, until you realize there are cars coming at you. The accelerator brains on this car need some tweaking. It can be very jumpy sometimes and many times it takes the brain a while to figure out that it needs to upshift to accelerate and so you sit in a low gear pushing full pedal and not accelerating.
