My car refused to slow down when I took my foot off the accelerator traveling at 65-70 mpg; throwing me to a panic situation, nearly rear-ending the car in front that slowed down. When I stepped on the brakes it was difficult to avoid hitting the car in front. My abrupt changing the lane to the right prevented a major accident. As there were no cars on that lane saved me from a major accident. I definitely know this is a defect in the manufacturing and a warning to other owners of Toyota Yaris.
I took my car to the dealer service center in Downey, CA and their report of 5-28-15 saying no defect.
Subsequently I drove my car on the same journey; and this time it slowed down when going uphill considerably. Soon after; on the level road the speed increased inappropriately.
I know for certainty that this Toyota Yaris has a major problem. Where do I go now, the dealer says; 'there is no problem'.
Readers, I need your advice and directions that I should follow.
