The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Yaris. While driving approximately 35 mph at night the tail lights did not function properly unless the contact turned them on manually. This failure occurred every time the vehicle was driven at night. The dealer stated that this was normal and that it was designed that way. There were no repair. The failure mileage was 12 and the current mileage was 17,407. Updated 04/16/10. The consumer stated the tail lights and head lights, must be manually be turned on at night. Therefore, the consumer sometimes forget to turn them on. Updated 08/26/10
